What makes me tick
I see my role as a designer is to have a positive affect upon the people and world around me, whether it be as noble as designing something to save a life or simply designing something that makes someone smile.
Problems are good, it means things can be improved.
Keep it simple honest and clear, the simplest solutions are often the best.
Balanced clean and simple design aesthetic, yet with character and detail.
Good design should be designed around people and add value to life.
My back story
Born in rural Essex, my early years where spent making things in my dads shed, and tinkering with bikes. My early inspirations came from a mixture of nature, classic cars and old airplanes. I initially studied engineering, then a spell of product design and manufacturing engineering, and I then later went on to study Industrial design at Brunel university. I work in London as a product designer and model maker and have now started to design and manufacture my own products.
